This picture was taken from Ninth Street looking out of same on to Bedford Street. Conductor Joshua Swallw, the man standing in the street with a newspaper in his pocket, is the point where Motorman Alton Dunbar claims the front end of his car was when the boy left the side-walk. The man standing on the cross-walk is Motorman Alton Dunbar. He stands where he claims he struck the boy and this is also the point agreed to by both Swallow and Dunbar as being the point where the body lay.
